Prepping for crew changeover

Al submits to performance enhancements!

As suggested by Don!!

Bro Alan has been a very naughty boy says Raewyn!

Me - I was just innocently handing him a wooden spoon to help leverage a drawer closed!

Our route Mangonui to Picton.

Go on Don ... we all know you want a teddy bear!

Post award ceremony.

Arrival in Picton.

Made it!! We so rock!!

  1. To all those hardy soles upon the good ship Mimu.
Bother AL and I made it home safe and tired after a successful Roady
Thank you so much for the opportunity to partake in such a wonderful adventure. I had a blast and cant wait till the "next time"
Bruce you are an awesome skipper. Skillful, carefully considered and entertaining to boot. Raewyn you are just magic at making sure we are all fed watered and cared for. Keep up the night time lullabies. Thank you to both of you for sharing your beautiful Mimu with us all. She is a very comfortable and safe ship
To first mate Jean it is great to share your passion and excellent sea-womanship. Keep writing and don't give up the dream!
To Alison and Tony I am sure you will more than adequately replace us two deserters although the bullshit and decibel level maybe somewhat lower! Perhaps time to learn the ukulele? In the meantime rest assured that I am finding your couch very comfy although reaching for the remote can be quite a work out!
I will watch you progress with vicarious pleasure.
    Safe journey

    Luv Don D'Rio

    1. Thank you for your very kind words Don D'Rio - was so good to have you on board. Your presence gave me confidence as we went through those big storms - you were so cool. Loved the singing, such a happy boat. Miss you heaps! xx
